From 100-1 to 6-1: Saints Enter Super Bowl Odds’ Top Tier

Less than two months ago, the Saints were 0-2, listed at +3000 to simply win their division. Seven consecutive wins later, New Orleans is now listed at +600 to win the Super Bowl, up from +1000 last week.

They’re now in the subjective top tier of Super Bowl contenders, joining New England, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia as the only teams with shorter than +1000 odds to take home the Lombardi Trophy.

New England was able to distance themselves from the pack a bit this week by blowing out the Broncos at Mile High. They’re now +300 and riding a five-game win streak, but incredibly have still yet to return to their ridiculous preseason odds of +275.

Pittsburgh’s odds remained unchanged after their less-than-impressive win at Indy. Philly, on the other hand, saw their odds drop to +450 despite a bye week, making room for the Saints to join the party.

The Rams continued their recent dominance with a 33-7 win over Houston. They’ve now won their last three games by a combined 93 points, and are listed at +1200, their best odds to date this season.

Also listed at their peak Super Bowl odds this week are the Jaguars. After an overtime win over the Chargers, “Sacksonville” is now 6-3, and listed at +2500.

The top 10 teams (by odds) will all be in action in Week 11, so some shake-ups to this list are inevitable. Check back again next week to see where they stand.
