2015-16 NHL Win Totals

BetOnline recently posted win totals for the 2015-16 NHL regular season. In an interesting twist, the Anaheim Ducks and Tampa Bay Lightning were projected to win the most games this season (48.5) even though the Chicago Blackhawks (47.5 wins) actually have the best odds of winning the Stanley Cup at +800. Keep in mind these are win totals only and not total points (which would include overtime losses).

The table below displays the current win totals for all 30 NHL teams and will be updated as additional books post their lines.

Eastern Conference

#4 Washington Capitals vs. #5 Columbus Blue Jackets

Western Conference

#1 Anaheim Ducks vs. #8 Nashville Predators

#2 Chicago Blackhawks vs. #7 Calgary Flames

#3 St. Louis Blues vs. #6 Dallas Stars

#4 Los Angeles Kings vs. #5 Minnesota Wild

Using these win totals to guide our predictions the Sharks, Jets, Senators, Bruins and Canucks would not qualify for the playoffs. It’s also expected that the Buffalo Sabres (29.5) will improve slightly while the Arizona Coyotes (26.5) will take their place as the league’s worst team.
