2017 NBA Playoffs: Finals MVP Odds

The 2017 NBA Playoffs begin Saturday but 5Dimes has already released odds to win the Bill Russell Finals MVP Award. Sure, it’s a bit early for most people to think about wagering on this, but with the Cavs and Warriors such heavy favorites to reach the Finals, it may not be a bad idea. LeBron James won this award last year after Cleveland’s epic comeback over Golden State, but it was longshot Andre Iguodala in 2015 and darkhorse Kawhi Leonard in 2014.

Below shows the opening odds to win this year’s NBA Finals MVP from 5Dimes:

Matthew Dellavedova (Bucks) +50000

Myles Turner (Pacers) +50000
Patrick Beverley (Rockets) +50000

Kevin Durant is your early favorite at +220 odds, followed by Curry +300 and LeBron +450. Westbrook is +5000 and will probably attract some public bets, but it’ll take a lot of underdog wins by the Thunder just to get to that point.
