2016 Olympic Soccer Odds

2016 Olympic Soccer Odds

The 2016 Summer Olympics will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil starting on August 5, 2016. Although the games are almost two months away, several sportsbooks have begun posting odds for some of the most popular events. On Monday, the Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas released their soccer odds for both the men and women.

For these games, the men will compete in a 16-team tournament and the women in a 12-team tournament. It’s also worth noting that men’s teams aren’t allowed to send players over 23-years old, however, there’s no age restriction for the women’s teams.

Host nation Brazil opened as a +120 favorite on the men’s side, followed by Germany and Argentina at +400. On the women’s side, the United States opened as a +125 favorite followed closed by Brazil at +325.

The tables below display the current Gold Medal odds at the Westgate Superbook. This information will be updated throughout the 2016 Olympics.
