Sharp Action Moving Patriots-Bears Line Off Key Betting Number

The New England Patriots and Chicago Bears are moving in opposite directions after Week 6 of the 2018 NFL season.

Chicago lost as a 7.5-point road favorite to backup quarterback Brock Osweiler and the Dolphins. New England, on the other hand, handed Kansas City its first loss of the season on Sunday Night Football.

BookMaker.eu opened the Patriots as 2.5-point road favorites against the Bears in Week 7 and bettors quickly jumped on the Pats, moving the line to -3.

The spread remained at New England -3 before professionals steamed the Patriots at -3 (+100) and again at -3 (-105) late Sunday night, driving the line up to -3.5 across the market.

As of Tuesday morning, most of the betting market remains at New England -3.5, however, some Bears buyback showed up at +3.5.

BookMaker has moved back to Pats -3 but has attached a vig of -125 for anyone looking to lay the field goal.

Not only are sharps backing New England, but the public is piling on as well. At the time of publication, 82% of tickets wagered on the spread are also on the Patriots.
