The 2018 FIFA World Cup is set to take kick off on June 14th in Russia, marking the first time the event has returned to the area since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Although the tournament features just 32 teams, Sportsbook.com has already posted 2018 World Cup Futures for 84 different countries.

Defending champion Germany opened as the favorite at +500 while host country Russia (+2000) has the tenth best odds of winning the World Cup. After a strong showing in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the United States opened at +5000 — tied for the 14th best odds along with Croatia, Poland, Ukraine and Uruguay.
