2016 Miss Universe Pageant Odds
Miss Universe is an annual international beauty pageant featuring contestants from more than 80 countries worldwide. For unknown reasons, Miss Universe 2016 will actually be crowned on January 30, 2017, at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines. This will be the 65th anniversary of the Miss Universe Pageant.
Earlier this week, BetOnline posted odds on who will win the Miss Universe Pageant with Miss Columbia, Jealisse Andrea Tovar Velásquez, listed as the favorite. Ironically, Steve Harvey incorrectly announced last year’s Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, as the winner. Pia Alonzo Wurtzback, i.e. Miss Phillippines, was the real winner. Despite that memorable faux pas, Harvey will host this year’s pageant as well.
