2015 Potential College Football Playoff Odds

As the College Football season winds down, almost every game becomes a potential elimination game with a number of teams vying for a spot in the first ever four-team playoff. The two semifinal games will be played on New Years Day with the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl deciding which teams will compete in the January 12th Championship Game.

There are eight teams who can realistically vie for one of the four playoff spots: Mississippi State, Oregon, Florida State, TCU, Alabama, Arizona State, Baylor and Ohio State — all of whom have one loss or less.

Earlier this week, the Golden Nugget released spreads for a number of potential playoff matchups including these eight teams. Alabama, who is currently a +400 favorite to win it all, would be favored by at least a field goal against all potential competitors. (h/t @ToddFuhrman).
