The 2017 Kentucky Derby will be the 143rd running of the event and officially starts at 6:34 ET on Saturday, May 6th in Louisville, Kentucky. Nyquist was the 2016 winner, closing as the favorite at +300 odds, but was available at +2500 odds in October of 2015.
