In order to maximize your bankroll, it’s important to shop for the best line when making a play on a game. Tuesday’s Game 4 of the NBA Finals was a prime example of just how significant this can be.
After analyzing our Betting System Plays and Betting Trends data, we released the Mavericks as one of the day’s Best Bets. A scan of the sports marketplace showed the majority of sportsbooks offering Dallas at -3, but 5Dimes still had the game at -2.5.
The Mavericks ended up beating the Heat, 86-83, rewarding anybody who took a couple of minutes to shop for the best line with a win, while most others got the game at -3 and pushed.
