The Nets fit several of our systems last week, the most notable being a square play as only 15% of bettors were taking them against the vaunted Celtics. The Nets were getting six points, but were able to win the game by 9 points, 88-79.

Memphis Grizzlies (-8) over Utah Jazz
In a game featuring two teams hovering around a .500 record, Marketwatch is taking the rare favorite. That’s right, we are actually going to have to lay some points tonight to get the win and get back to even on the season.
Although Memphis is currently fighting for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, they have been playing well lately including going 19-9 since January 21st. More importantly, they have been performing well against the spread with a 43-26-1 record for the season including going 21-12 at home. Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been struggling after losing Jerry Sloan and shipping Deron Williams off to New Jersey, losing 12 of their last 17.
The betting percentages are relatively split for this game, but our best Steam Move (Pinnacle, 130-107, +10.2 units won) has caused the line to move to (-8) across the board, after it opened at 6.5 or 7 at some books. The betting percentages do not qualify this game as a Square Play, but keep your browser on Sports Insights for some other NBA games tonight that could have some contrarian value.
