The Yankees jumped all over Roy Halladay and the Phillies last week, lighting up Doc for six earned runs in six innings of work. The early run support was plenty for CC Sabathia, who allowed three earned runs over seven innings as the Yanks downed the Phils, and Marketwatch, 8-3.

Sports MarketWatch – MLB Games to Watch

Houston Astros +130 over San Francisco Giants

In tonight’s contest, both Marketwatch and Houston are hoping Roy Oswalt (5-8, 3.12 ERA) can once again be a stopper. Oswalt will take on a familiar face, San Francisco’s Tim Lincecum, for the third time this season. Lincecum (7-2, 3.11 ERA) won both of those showdowns, but has had some issues recently, posting a 4.47 ERA in his last seven starts.

San Francisco opened as a -160 favorite at CRIS and this game has seen considerable reverse-line movement, shrinking to -145, even though the Giants are a significant public favorite. San Francisco is currently receiving 78% of moneyline wagers, hinting that big bets have come down on the home underdog. Sports Insights’ Betting Systems triggered a Steam Move on Houston at BetUS (+5 units), convincing us to fade the heavy public favorite and grab the Astros at home.
