Sports Information Specialist

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have exceptional writing skills and previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live sports data for accuracy
• Sports data entry
• Monitor multiple news and injury sources
• Release breaking news via website and social media channels
• Provide customer service support via email, live web chat and phone
• Research, write, edit, and post relevant articles to our blog

Requirements

• Detail-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of US sports, teams, players (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, College Hoops + Football)
• Ability to work in a PC based environment (Excel, Word)
• Familiarity with social media websites (Twitter, Facebook)
• WordPress experience a plus
• Knowledge of sports betting concepts a plus
• Previously published article a plus

This is a full-time, entry-level position which requires you to physically report to our office. Night, weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Please note: Candidates should be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. No relocation packages are available. This is not a telecommuting position.
