Cleveland Cavaliers +8 over Orlando Magic

After a roster shakeup, Orlando has rattled off three straight victories, including impressive wins against San Antonio and Boston.

Cleveland is heading in the opposite direction, with just one victory in the month of December.

Orlando opened as a 7.5-point favorite at CRIS and is currently receiving 89% of spread bets and 90% of moneyline wagers. Even though the public is pounding the Magic, the line has dropped to -7 at CRIS. Thisreverse-line movement has triggered a Smart Money Play at Olympic (+6.68 units) and a Steam Move at 5Dimes (+16 units) on the Cavs.

The extremely lopsided betting also makes this game a prime candidate for one of the day’s NBA Square Plays, which are currently 36-20 (+13.1 units) on the season.

At the time of publication, a couple of sportsbooks are offering a full 8 points, so do some line shopping and grab the best number possible.
