Recapping Last Week

All sportsbooks reported a positive Sunday for NFL Week 11. The Public posted their tenth consecutive losing week. SportsInsights.com analysis shows that in games with over 65% of the action on one side, the Public went 4-4-2. Remember when you factor in “the juice”, going .500 is losing. For the season that makes the Public 34-44-8 = 43.6%. SportsInsights.com Games to Watch analysis continued its positive momentum, going 2-0-1 last weekend. Overall, that makes the Games to Watch column 21-10-2 = 67.7%.

Looking Ahead to this Week
Look for handle sizes to remain strong in NFL Week 12 as the Public attempts to cash in again on some over-matched teams. We anticipate Seattle, New York Giants, New England, and Jacksonville to be the most “lopsided-bet” games of the week. NFL Week 12 Sports Marketwatch – Games to Watch

New Orleans Saints vs Carolina Panthers

This is an NFC South divisional rivalry between two under performing teams (both 4-6) that are, amazingly enough, still in the playoff picture. Carolina is a great value play as a +3 Home Dog. Granted, Carolina is on a four game losing steak, but they get Steve Smith back this week and they are coming off of one of their best offensive performances of the year. Carolina has a talented squad that has endured its share of injuries. Look for some home cooking to help Carolina get healthy and back on track.

Carolina Panthers +3

So, here’s a wrap-up of SportsInsights.com analysis for this week’s Games to Watch for NFL Week 12.
