Sports MarketWatch – MLB Games to
Watch
Colorado Rockies +150 over Milwaukee
Brewers
Colorado has beaten Milwaukee eight straight times, including
a 5-3 victory on Opening Day Monday. The Brewers will rely on Randy Wolf tonight
as they try to defeat the Rockies for the first time since July 10, 2008. Wolf,
who played for the Dodgers in 2009, had success against Colorado last season,
posting a 2.96 ERA in four starts.
Milwaukee opened as a -130 favorite at
Pinnacle and strong public betting has pushed the line to -161. This line
movement has added value to Colorado, and SportsInsights' betting systems agree.
A Steam Move on Colorado was triggered at Pinnacle, our #1 ranked sportsbook for
MLB Steam Moves each of the past three
seasons. (To learn more about SportsInsights' MLB Betting Systems, check our our
2010 MLB Betting
Systems Preview).

San Diego Padres +134 over Arizona
Diamondbacks
In our second game, San Diego sends Chris Young (4-6,
5.21 ERA in '09) to the mound to take on Arizona and starter Edwin Jackson
(13-9, 3.62 ERA in '09 with Detroit). The Diamondbacks took the first game of
the series Monday, beating the Padres 6-3 behind Dan Haren's seven innings of
one-run baseball.
Arizona opened as a -175 favorite at CRIS and are currently a slight public
favorite. Even though the Diamondbacks are currently receiving 52% of moneyline
wagers, the line has shrunk to -152, hinting that sharp money is coming down on
the Padres. SportsInsights' Betting Systems have also found value on San Diego,
triggering a Steam Move at 5Dimes, a book that is +45.87 units over the past
three seasons and +4.1 units already in 2010.
