Arizona Cardinals

Updated Player Pos. Injury Status Update Rotowire Analysis
11/21/2008 3:11:49 PM Travis LaBoy DE Ankle questionable LaBoy (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game. He did some work during all of Arizona's practices this week, so there is a good chance that he will start on Sunday.
11/21/2008 3:10:42 PM Mike Gandy OG Ankle probable Gandy (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game. He should start; the Cardinals' offensive line continues to enjoy good health.
11/21/2008 3:08:06 PM Clark Haggans LB Foot questionable Haggans (foot, questionable) did not practice all week, the Arizona Republic reports. While there is still a chance that he will play on Sunday, it doesn't look good. Chike Okeafor's role would likely expand if Haggans is sidelined.
11/21/2008 3:06:28 PM Eric Green CB Knee probable Green (knee) is expected to start instead of Rod Hood (ribs) on Sunday, the Arizona Republic reports. If Hood plays, it should be off the bench. Green is a shaky IDP because he has fallen to third on the Cardinals' depth chart, but Hood's injury should allow him to return to the starting lineup in Week 12.
11/21/2008 3:04:20 PM Roderick Hood CB Ribs questionable Hood (ribs, questionable) is not expected to start on Sunday, the Arizona Republic reports. Eric Green should take his place. Hood missed all of this week's practices to attend a family funeral. If his ribs allow him to play on Sunday, it will be off the bench, so it's not worth using Hood in an IDP league this week.
11/19/2008 4:24:40 PM Darnell Dockett DT Hamstring probable Dockett (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday's practice, the Cardinals' official site reports. This sounds precautionary; he should be fine to start on Sunday.
11/16/2008 8:11:51 PM Leonard Pope TE Ankle probable Pope made two catches for nine yards in Sunday's win over the Seahawks. He was only targeted twice. Pope seems to have reclaimed the top spot on Arizona's depth chart at tight end, as Ben Patrick and Jerame Tuman appeared to be inactive more because of head coach Ken Whisenhunt's unhappiness with their play than their respective minor injuries. Still, Pope is a minimal fantasy option.
11/16/2008 3:20:13 PM Ben Patrick TE Knee inactive Patrick (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. Coach Ken Whisenhunt indicated this week he was unhappy with the team's tight end play, and Patrick will pay the price. Leonard Pope will start at tight end.

Atlanta Falcons

Updated Player Pos. Injury Status Update Rotowire Analysis
11/21/2008 8:56:42 PM John Abraham DE Neck questionable Abraham (neck) was a limited participant in all three of Atlanta's practices this week, and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Carolina, according to the Falcons' official site. He's been bothered by the neck injury since Week 10, but Abraham should be ready to go on Sunday.
11/21/2008 8:47:47 PM Brian Finneran WR Hamstring questionable Finneran (hamstring) was limited in practice all three days this week, and is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with Carolina, according to the Falcons' official site. The injury doesn't seem too severe, so Finneran should take the field on Sunday. However, he's low on the depth chart and shouldn't be considered for your fantasy lineup.
11/21/2008 3:37:51 PM Jerious Norwood RB Ribs questionable Norwood (ribs) is questionable for Sunday's game. The Falcons have a tendency to list guys as questionable, but Norwood looked good in practice this week and he should be fine for Sunday's game.
11/21/2008 3:36:22 PM Jason Elam K Hamstring questionable Elam (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game. He played well at less than 100 percent last week and there is a good chance that he will do so again this week.
11/21/2008 3:04:53 PM Roddy White WR Back questionable White (back) is listed as questionable against Carolina against Sunday, though he did practice on Friday for the first time of the week, NFL.com reports. Expect White to play, barring a setback. He's molded himself into a must-start, even against a tough defense such as the Panthers.
11/19/2008 7:06:14 PM Laurent Robinson WR Hamstring questionable Robinson (hamstring) will not play on Sunday, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Robinson has been battling injuries since the first few weeks of training camp this season. He should not be on anyone's fantasy roster at this point.
11/18/2008 7:39:58 PM Sam Baker OT Back Out Baker (back) will miss Sunday's game against the Panthers, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. The Falcons running game looked sloppy on Sunday against the Broncos with a sore Todd Weiner (knee) taking Baker's place. It appears that Baker should be back in the lineup before the end of the season, especially if the Falcons are still in the thick of a playoff race.
11/16/2008 5:37:31 PM Michael Turner RB Hand probable Turner gained 81 yards on 25 attempts with two scores in the 24-20 loss to Denver on Sunday. Turner broke off a pretty entertaining 28-yard score in the fourth quarter to give the Falcons a 20-17 lead, but the Broncos drove back with a touchdown of their own to eventually seal the victory. Turner is still a force to be reckoned with despite the Falcons' somewhat depleted offensive line, and he has been among the top fantasy running backs this season.
11/16/2008 10:58:22 AM Brent Grimes CB Knee questionable Grimes (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos, the Atlanta Falcons' Web site reports. The Falcons have the ideal starter in place anyway. Domonique Foxworth began the year in Denver, and may be able to offer a bit of insight on some of the Broncos' offensive play calling. Grimes will have to work hard to regain his starting job since Foxworth has done such an excellent job so far

Baltimore Ravens

Updated Player Pos. Injury Status Update Rotowire Analysis
11/21/2008 6:31:29 PM Derrick Mason WR Shoulder questionable Mason (left shoulder, questionable) was limited in practice Friday, but should play Sunday against the Eagles, ESPN's John Clayton reports. Check back with us Sunday to be sure, but on the plus side the Ravens play during the first wave of games this week, so there'd be time to adjust if Mason ended up up being a surprise scratch.
11/20/2008 11:56:03 PM Jared Gaither OT Shoulder questionable Gaither (right shoulder) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday, the Baltimore Sun reports. If Gaither can't go against the Eagles, expect Adam Terry to slide into left tackle and Willie Anderson to fill Terry's spot at right tackle. The loss of Gaither could be a big blow to the Ravens' offensive efforts, especially against a tenacious Philadelphia front seven.
11/20/2008 8:39:48 PM Samari Rolle CB Arm questionable Rolle (neck surgery, arm) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, the Baltimore Sun reports. The arm injury suffered during Sunday's game doesn't appear too serious. The sling he sported on Wednesday is gone, and when reporters asked him about his arm he held up both his hands in a "touchdown" pose. Any lingering issues following neck surgery weren't enough to keep him off the field last week, so for now expect Rolle to be ready against the Eagles.
11/20/2008 8:35:16 PM Edward Reed S Neck questionable Reed (neck) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, the Baltimore Sun reports. Keep an eye on Reed's status until gametime, but we expect him to be ready to go against the Eagles.
11/20/2008 4:38:33 PM Daniel Wilcox TE Thigh probable Wilcox (thigh) was upgraded to full practice participation Thursday after being limited Wednesday, the Baltimore Sun reports. It looks like Wilcox will be ready to resume his backup TE duties behind Todd Heap this weekend, barring a setback.
11/17/2008 11:51:42 AM Willis McGahee RB Ankle probable McGahee rushed nine time for 18 yards Sunday before leaving with an ankle injury. A team official told the Carroll County Times that he could have returned if necessary. With the game already out of hand, it looks like Baltimore decided not to risk McGahee's health more than they had to. You'll want to check his practice time this week, but it looks like he'll be available next weekend.

Buffalo Bills

Updated Player Pos. Injury Status Update Rotowire Analysis
11/21/2008 4:41:23 PM Josh Reed WR Ankle probable Reed (Achilles/ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game in Kansas City after practicing on a limited basis again Friday, the Bills' official site reports. Although he's probably going to play and his return is a huge boost for the struggling Bills, we'd be very hesitant to use him in a fantasy lineup this week, given his health status, the length of time he's missed, and the possibility the team eases him back in a limited role.
11/21/2008 1:40:12 PM Bryan Scott S Knee questionable Scott (knee) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game in Kansas City, according to the Bills' official site. Normally this wouldn't be a huge loss, but the Buffalo secondary is an absolute mess right now, with starters Donte Whitner and Jabari Greer already ruled out for this one and Ashton Youboty out for the season. Scott did a nice job on Kellen Winslow in Monday's loss, so his presence could really help out trying to contain Tony Gonzalez.
11/21/2008 1:27:39 PM Donte Whitner S Shoulder Out Whitner (shoulder) is out for Sunday's game in Kansas City, according to the Bills' official site. He probably came back too early by trying to gut it out against the Browns Monday night. Those backing the Chiefs' revived passing game should take note, as the Bills are without preseason starters Whitner, Aaron Schobel, Angelo Crowell, Jabari Greer for this one, as well as third corner Ashton Youboty.
11/21/2008 1:25:00 PM Jabari Greer CB Knee Out Greer (knee) is out for Sunday's game in Kansas City, according to the Bills' official site. This is a pretty big loss when you couple it with the fact Donte Whitner, Buffalo's best safety, will also be out of the game, meaning three of the team's five best defensive backs (including Ashton Youboty) will not be playing in this one. Earlier in the season, it might not have mattered so much against the struggling Chiefs, but Kansas City has had a bit of a revival in the passing game lately.
11/21/2008 1:21:48 PM Aaron Schobel DE Foot Out Schobel (foot) is out for Sunday's game in Kansas City, according to the Bills' official site. This was expected, as the frustrating season for Schobel and the Buffalo defensive ends group continues.
11/18/2008 4:49:59 PM James Hardy WR Hip probable Hardy did not appear to take the field at all in the second half of Monday night's loss to the Browns, the Bills' official site reports. Hardy said it wasn't a problem with his hip flexor. Hardy, who did not have a catch in the game, continues to have his struggles and looks like he may even have been temporarily passed by seventh-round rookie Steve Johnson in the pecking order. He'll get better, but right now you have to say Hardy's rookie season (9-87-2) is a pretty big disappointment.
11/17/2008 7:36:46 PM Robert Royal TE Ankle probable Royal (ankle) is listed as active for Monday's game against the Browns. Averaging 28.6 receiving yards per game and with just one touchdown in nine games, Royal operates on the fantasy fringe.

Carolina Panthers

Updated Player Pos. Injury Status Update Rotowire Analysis
11/21/2008 2:14:59 PM Darwin Walker DT Neck probable Walker (neck) practiced Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Falcons, the Charlotte Observer reports. The Panthers are a little bit thin at defensive tackle, but you don't want to bank on getting production from Walker as an IDP even if he's back in the lineup.
11/21/2008 2:14:00 PM Ryan Kalil C Ankle probable Kalil (ankle) fully participated in Friday's practice and is probable for Sunday's game against Atlanta, the Charlotte Observer reports. He may be scratched for precautionary reasons, since Geoff Hangartner has played very well in Kalil's place this season.
11/21/2008 2:12:58 PM Thomas Davis LB Ankle probable Davis (ankle) fully participated in Friday's practice and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, the Charlotte Observer reports. Carolina enters Week 12 as the league's healthiest team, while Davis should be a safe play against Atlanta on Sunday if he's one of your regular IDP options.
11/16/2008 12:16:24 PM Dwayne Jarrett WR inactive Jarrett is a healthy inactive for Sunday's game. Unless someone ahead of him on the depth chart gets hurt, Jarrett might not dress for another game this season.

Chicago Bears

Updated Player Pos. Injury Status Update Rotowire Analysis
11/21/2008 8:01:01 PM Brandon Lloyd WR Calf probable Lloyd (calf) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Rams. Lloyd hasn't done much since a big Week 3, so he's not a high-percentage fantasy play at the moment.
11/21/2008 3:50:26 PM Marty Booker WR Knee Out Booker (knee) has been ruled out of Sunday's game. He didn't practice all week. Booker's absence shouldn't be a big blow to the Bears' passing game, because he is fourth on the depth chart at receiver.
11/17/2008 1:33:55 PM Kyle Orton QB Ankle probable Orton (ankle) completed 13-of-26 passes for 133 yards in the Bears' 37-3 loss to the Packers Sunday. Orton was replaced by Rex Grossman in the fourth quarter, but that was merely a precautionary move as the game was over by then. He could be a good play next week when the Bears visit the Rams.
11/16/2008 12:06:22 PM Kevin Jones RB Personal inactive Jones is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers. Jones missed practice Wednesday for personal reasons but returned after that, so this is a bit of a surprise. Adrian Peterson will back up Matt Forte.
11/16/2008 11:57:49 AM Hunter Hillenmeyer LB Thumb probable Hillenmeyer (thumb) is active for Sunday's game against the Packers. Hillenmeyer will be utilized primarily on special teams.
11/16/2008 11:57:31 AM Charles Tillman CB Shoulder probable Tillman (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game against the Packers. Tillman's 49 tackles this season make him one of the better fantasy cornerbacks in the league. He's safe to start in Week 11.

Cleveland Browns

Updated Player Pos. Injury Status Update Rotowire Analysis
11/21/2008 4:55:25 PM Shaun Rogers DT Neck questionable Rogers (neck) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, the Browns' Official Website reports. He hasn't recorded a sack in his previous two games and his amount of tackles has taken a slide since then as well. With this in mind, plus his injury, you may want to shy away from him as one of your IDPs for the time being.
11/21/2008 4:39:54 PM Steve Heiden TE Elbow questionable Heiden (elbow) did not practice Friday and is listed as as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, the Browns' official site reports. His status is worth noting with Kellen Winslow also listed as questionable, but given the fact that Heiden did not practice Friday, he's not looking like a very safe plan B for Winslow owners.
11/21/2008 4:35:39 PM Shaun Smith DT Calf doubtful Smith (calf) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Texans, the team's official site reports. His absence hurts the Browns' defensive front, but Smith (17 tackles) is not a player who helps IDP owners.
11/21/2008 4:31:50 PM Sean Jones S Ankle questionable Jones (ankle) was a limited participant at Friday's practice and is listed as as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, the team's official site reports. Check back with us Sunday if Jones is someone you rely on as an IDP. He's had health issues this season and as a result has just 33 tackles in six games thus far.
11/21/2008 4:24:51 PM Jerome Harrison RB Hamstring questionable Harrison (hamstring) was a limited participant at Friday's practice and is listed as as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, the team's official site reports. Harrison can make things happen when given the touches, but as long as Jamal Lewis handles the bulk of the Browns' running duties, Harrison will be a hit-or-miss fantasy play.
11/21/2008 4:22:42 PM Kellen Winslow TE Shoulder questionable Winslow was a limited participant at Friday's practice and is listed as as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans, the team's official site reports. Winslow has played through pain before and his presence (albeit limited) Friday is a good sign. Still, check with us Friday before signing off on Winslow for your Week 12 lineup.
11/21/2008 4:12:29 PM Brady Quinn QB Finger probable Quinn (finger) practiced fully Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Browns, the team's official site reports. Quinn has been a full participant at practice all week despite having a small fracture in his right index finger and said he plans to start Sunday's game. It looks safe to deploy him Sunday, but it remains to be seen how much his injury will impact his throw in game conditions.
11/17/2008 7:24:25 PM Eric Steinbach G Ribs probable Steinbach (oblique) will be in the Browns' starting lineup Monday against the Bills. Good news for the Browns run game, as Steinbach adds some key veteran stability to the offensive line.

Dallas Cowboys

Updated Player Pos. Injury Status Update Rotowire Analysis
11/21/2008 5:40:17 PM Tony Romo QB Finger probable Romo (finger) is probable for Sunday's game. He isn't expected to be 100 percent for at least two more games, but Romo was still reasonably productive last week. This week, his finger should be in better shape and he has a good matchup against San Francisco.
11/21/2008 5:38:19 PM Jason Witten TE Ribs probable Witten (ribs) is probable for Sunday's game. He hasn't been very productive as of late, but Witten seems to be feeling better and he has a solid matchup this week against the 49ers. Plus, it helps that starting quarterback Tony Romo (finger) is getting closer to 100 percent.
11/21/2008 5:36:30 PM Terence Newman CB Groin questionable Newman (groin) is questionable for Sunday's game because of an injury he suffered during Thursday's practice, the Dallas Morning News reports. Owner/general manager Jerry Jones said that the injury is unrelated to the sports hernia surgery that sidelined Newman for six games earlier this season. Newman's availability for Sunday's game is uncertain.
11/20/2008 4:06:50 PM Terrell Owens WR Illness probable Owens (flu-like symptoms) returned to practice Thursday, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Owens will certainly be available to his owners this weekend, but Tony Romo will still be wearing the splint on his throwing hand, which will likely limit the Cowboys' vertical passing game.
11/20/2008 3:39:16 PM Felix Jones RB Toe IR The Cowboys have put Jones on injured reserve because of a torn ligament under his left big toe, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Before the injury bug hit Jones, he displayed some of his electric talent that led to him being the Cowboys' top draft pick, rushing for 266 yards and three touchdowns and averaging 27.1 yards on kickoff returns. His loss ensures that Marion Barber will continue to carry the bulk of the Cowboys' rushing load.
11/20/2008 9:56:54 AM Bobby Carpenter LB Groin questionable Carpenter (groin) returned to practice Wednesday. He should get back into the LB rotation this Sunday.
11/20/2008 9:55:55 AM Isaiah Stanback WR Shoulder questionable Stanback (shoulder) returned to practice on a limited basis Wednesday, and could be used as a kick returner Sunday, the Dallas Morning News reports. Stanback says he'll need more surgery on the shoulder in the offseason. The Cowboys' receiving corps is thin with Miles Austin out, but it doesn't look like Stanback will get much of a look in the offense right away.
11/19/2008 10:28:23 AM Miles Austin WR Knee Out Austin will be out 2-4 weeks after sprained his LCL Sunday, the Dallas Morning News reports. The Cowboys are now down to three healthy receivers, although it's the top three WRs on the depth chart. Austin has just 12 catches on the season, so he won't be terribly missed while he's out.
11/18/2008 10:49:59 AM Anthony Henry CB Hamstring probable Henry left Sunday's game in the third quarter due to cramping in his right hamstring, the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram reports. Mike Jenkins replaced him at cornerback. This doesn't seem like something that will keep Henry out of action next week, though.

Denver Broncos

Updated Player Pos. Injury Status Update Rotowire Analysis
11/21/2008 9:35:04 PM Tony Scheffler TE Groin probable Scheffler (groin, probable) was a full participant in all three practices this week, according to the Broncos' official site. Given his participation in the full slate of practice activities, you should feel free to deploy Scheffler as usual.
11/21/2008 7:39:01 PM Champ Bailey CB Groin questionable Bailey (groin) was limited in practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders. While there is a possibility that Bailey will play against the Raiders Sunday, there is probably a better chance he will go next week against the Jets, ESPN's John Clayton reports.
