Before the onslaught of Super Bowl information hits us over the next few days, we thought we would take a look at college basketball. Before we know it, March Madness will be upon us!
In today’s NCAAB sports marketplace, one game caught our analysts’ eyes in particular. Normally, the public loves favorites. Today, however, in one of the heaviest-bet games of the day, the public currently prefers Michigan over Ohio State — with two out of three bets taking Michigan as 16-point underdogs.
It looks like the public doesn’t think much of #1 Ohio State. It’s rare to see the public back a big underdog, but public perception can often yield contrarian value.
